N2  - According to the Republic Act No. 9512 on National Environment Awareness Act, 2008. An act to promote environmental awareness through environmental education and for other purposes. This act provides for the promotion of environmental awareness through environmental education which shall encompass environmental concepts and principles, environmental laws, the state of international and local environment, local environmental practices. 
Understanding how fragile our environment is and knowing how to safeguard our environment respectively, is known as environmental awareness. Being environmentally conscious entails understanding the issues facing nature today and developing an interest in preserving it. However, there are divergent opinions and a death of evidence addressing the best way to be environmentally conscious and interested. On how the students will actively engage in environmental activities, for as by joining an organization whose goal is to safeguard people and the environment.
