This study examined the efficiency inventory and records management among barangay secretaries in selected barangays of Buhi, Camarines Sur. It aimed to determine the respondents' profile, assess their level of efficiency in handling inventory and records, identify common management practices, and examined the challenges encountered in performing these administrative tasks. The study also determined whether significant differences in efficiency exists when respondents are grouped according to selected variables. A descriptive-correlational quantitative research design was employed. Nineteen (19) barangay secretaries from selected barangays served as respondents and were chosen through purposive sampling. Data were gathered using a researcher-made questionnaire that underwent validation and reliability testing. Statistical tools such as frequency, percentage, weighted mean, rank ordering, and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze the data. The findings provided an overview of the current inventory and records handling practices of barangay secretaries, highlighting their efficiency levels as well as the challenges that affect their performance. The result of the study served as a basis for proposing a training plan aimed at improving inventory and records management efficiency, thereby contributing to more effective, accountable, and transparent barangay administration.
