Undergraduate Thesis (BSOA)- Office Administration Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, 2022.
This study aimed to know the impact of sleep deprivation on the well-being of 2nd year BSOA students of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Buhi Campus. The overall purpose of this study was to know how sleep deprivation effect the daily life of 2nd year BSOA student. The different terms used in this study were defined operationally and/or conceptually for better understanding. The review of related literature and studies were used when findings have bearing on the present study. Researchers need at least 40 respondents from students' school year 2021-2022 to answer the questionnaires or survey and get information on sleep deprivation on the wellbeing of 2nd year BSOA student. The researchers used the descriptive method. The tool used in was survey questionnaire via goggle forms, and it was analyzed through weighted mean and rank ordering method. Female, apparently the respondents were throughout diverse in terms of sex; all of the respondents is single in terms of status; most of the respondents' monthly income fell under 5,000 and below. The researchers concluded. The impact of sleep deprivation on the well-being of 2nd year BSOA students is indeed efficient which results agree with an average weighted mean of 2.75. The proposed recommendation may be adopted to the impact of sleep deprivation on the well-being of 2nd year BSOA students based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations were derived: 1. Exercise and eat healthy food. 2. Create and stick to a regular and consistent sleeping schedule. 3. Avoid using cellphone before you sleep at night. 4. Meditation, breathing exercise for you to relax your mind. 5. Do not eat large meal within two hours of bedtime. 6. Do not nap later than 3 pm.7. Avoid caffein, alcohol, and nicotine in the four to six hours. 8. Sleep in a dark, quiet room with a comfortable temperature. 9. Give yourself a quiet, completely dark, comfortable day-sleep, environment with no distraction. 10. Improve your day sleep environmental. Learn to cat nap.
