Summary, etc. "Electricity is a phenomenon that we are all familiar with in our daily lives. It is a flow of electrically charged particles called electrons. The word "electricity" itself is derived from the word "electrons". However, simply having a source of electricity like a battery is not enough to power a device. You need a complete circuit for electricity to flow through. An electronic circuit is a pathway that allows electrons to move from one point to another. It is a closed loop through which electric current can flow. Current flows from positive to negative, while electrons move from negative to positive. When a switch is turned on in a circuit, it completes the path, and electricity flows through it, enabling devices like bulbs to light up. But when the switch is turned off, the circuit is broken, and the electricity cannot flow.<br/>Circuits are present in almost every electrical device we use, from simple switch boards to complex devices like televisions, refrigerators, and laptops.
